The Qinglong ji hardwood spear has a metal tip (not sharpened) as well as a crescent-shaped side blade decorated with a red fillet pad. This is one of the traditional halberd types. The spear is considered in the Chinese arts as "the sovereign of long weapons". With a length of 183cm (6Ft) and a diameter of 2.5cm (1 ''), its lightness offers optimal speed of execution. The wood offers superior stiffness to the rattan, making the spear more responsive.
