The Yamato Nishiki Judo Kimono is the mid-range KuSakura kimono. Yamato is the name given to ancient Japan, and Nishiki refers to embroidered brocade (silk) fabrics. This name is due to the fact that the weaving technique used for this kimono is an old technique that is not used much today.
This judogi is part of KuSakura's tradition and know-how, so it is of high quality, very comfortable to wear, and very flexible. With its excellent fit and a perfect cut at the front skirt closure, this is the perfect kimono for intermediate judo players.
Designed by simple weaving (single thickness), the jacket is, like all models of the brand, in rice grain (sashiko) on the upper part, and diamond (hishisashi) on the lower part.
