The IJF Coaching Series, JUDO FOR SELF-DEFENCE, Double sided disc contains both PAL and NTSC versions, running time: 60 mins. This DVD aims to promote the teaching of self defence by using judo techniques or judo related skills. It shows the ideas of four lecturers, who are World experts in judo and self defence. All four lecturers came together at the IJF Coaching Seminar in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, on 9th-10th October 2006, which was hosted by Yasuhiro Yamashita. They first held lectures on their different types of self defence, before demonstrating their techniques in the dojo. Each expert's class is accessible individually, and easy to follow. Clear demonstrations -including replays- are given by the lecturers, and are followed by examples from the IJF participants.
